Ennis Islamic Cultural Centre is committed to the Islamic way of life based on the Qur’an and life example of Prophet Muhammad. We serve as a centre for religious development, social, educational, economic, and cultural enrichment. We believe in the Oneness of God (Allah) and the oneness of humanity. We are committed to promoting excellence in community life and human dignity throughout our neighborhoods, city, country, and global community.

According to the 2022 census, there were 83,330 Muslims living in the Republic of Ireland, representing a 29.1% increase over the figures for the 2016 census. However the Islamic community is very much a minority, especially when compared to the numbers of Christians and those of no religion.

There are estimated of nearly to 1000 Muslims in Ennis, this community is diverse with different ethnicities and backgrounds and growing rapidly. We are here to serve the community, so we hope you find the information on this website helpful.
